Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been doing Photography?

Professionally, I have been doing it since 2006. I worked in the wedding industry doing video before that, but I took courses and photos for myself well before then.

What areas do you service?

I grew up in South Gippsland and am based in Leongatha, but I am happy to travel anywhere. I have done weddings internationally and interstate and regularly travel to Melbourne and its surrounds.

Do you have a studio?

I have a small studio at my home, but many clients prefer familiar surroundings. My studio gear is portable, and I am happy to travel to you.

Do I have to pay for photos on top of the package fee?

No. My packages are all-inclusive, and you will receive all usable or printable photos.

How long do you allow for each package?

Unless specified, I take as long as needed to get the photos you want. For a 'Full Day' Wedding Package, this truly means a full day, including travel, which has sometimes been up to 16 hours.

How will I receive my images?

Usually I will send you a link to view a preview of what I have taken then you will receive a Google drive link or a USB with them.

How long will I have to wait for my photos?

In most cases I will send you a link to view a preview of what I have taken the next day. At peak times large shoots such as a Wedding can take up to 3 months but if you want any particular photos ASAP you just have to reach out and I will send them to you.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have public liability and can provide a certificate of currency if required by a venue.

Can you organise prints?

Yes. I can organise prints on top quality paper or canvas.

What is the booking process?

Reach out whichever way (phone, email, messenger via my Facebook page, etc.) works best for you, and we can discuss dates and availability. Through that communication, we can work out your vision, a good time, and what location would best suit. For smaller sessions, I will then email you a booking form and go from there. For weddings or larger, more involved sessions, I like to organise a face-to-face meet-up to cover all the details and discuss options. This allows me to take lots of notes and gives us a chance to get to know each other, since a photographer is often a very big part of your special events.
